Testosterone
Andopause, also known as Male Menopause, is a syndrome in aging men that consists of physical, sexual, and psychological symptoms. Because of its very gradual onset, men don't often recognize the symptoms of testosterone deficiency until it affects their sex life, body, and energy levels. Often, the symptoms are mistaken for other health problems. Many men over 40 struggle to lose weight and keep it off, which can also be an indication of a testosterone imbalance. Testosterone levels begin to decline at a rate of 1% per year after age 30, and it is estimated that 39% of men over age 45 have testosterone levels below normal levels.
